It sounds so dreamy but I’m talking about a treadmill run here 🙂
I travelled to Penang, Malaysia for work. It’s hot and humid. So hot and humid, the air conditioning barely took the heaviness out of the air. When I opened my hotel room door, the humid air from the open style resort immediately caused beads of sweat to form on my nose and cheeks.
As I normally do, I made myself pack clothes for a run. I usually never use them. This time, I felt great and decided to wake early for a treadmill run. I ran 4 miles!
By the time it was over, my shirt was so soaked that I could ring it out. But I felt amazing. I had a runner’s high.

Overall, I’ve not done any long runs since my 9 miler a few weekends ago. I’m getting down to crunch time for my marathon training. My friends want me to do a half in 3 weeks but I’m not in the best condition for it. My hips are sore and I had one of those Charlie horses in my calf (not a good sign for me). Im contemplating the half though because I figure I can walk/run toward the end. It’ll be a nice mind training 😉
